Even if the pool water is disinfected and balanced, other factors can create issues such as cloudy or green water, stains and scale buildup.

Water is not just altered by how often people bathe in it, other altering factors include: wind, atmospheric pollution, insects, the surrounding vegetation and the ambient temperature.

Preventing and curing these problem can involve specialist chemicals that can remove, stains, phosphates, algae, grease and other buildups that cannot be managed just by using sanitisers and balancers.

Dosage and Safety

> Opening of the pool - 200ml for every 10m³ litres of pool water
> Maintenance - 200ml for every 10m³ litres of pool water every two weeks
> Curative - 400ml for every 10m³ litres of pool water

> If you have Algae in your pool, first shock the pool with HTH Shock Powder to raise the chlorine level to between 5 & 10ppm.

> After 24 hours you can then add HTH Super Kleral Multi-Functional Algicide, following the manufacturer's instructions on the tub

HTH Super Kleral 3ltr - Multifunctional Algaecide

Super Kleral can be used as a "One-Dose '' Summerlong Algaecide or a "One Dose" Winterlong Algaecide. This is a Non-Copper Algaecide used to both prevent or kill algae. It also stops limescale build up as well as helping to prevent staining on pool walls and floor from metals in solution in the pool water

HTH Algaecides are based in Polymerised Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (Polyquat); these are non-foaming so can be used in swim spas, too. Having an 15% active concentration level is 50% more than other algaecides on the market. HTH Super Kleral algaecide does not affect the pH level of pool water, but will work effectively across a huge pH range.
