Pool Chlorine Dispensers

Floating chlorine dispensers are a nice easy device that slowly disperses your chlorine tablets into your pool or spa. These are particularly useful for above ground pools with no skimmers or for when your in-ground pool is closed for the winter. Many of our customers also like to use them when they are away on holiday for reassurance that their pools will remain clean whilst they are away. An easy solution to keeping residual chlorine levels where they should be. Don’t forget to remove your chlorine floater from the pool or spa when there are people swimming. Chlorine tablet dispensers are available to manually load or pre-loaded.


How long does a chlorine floater last?

Our Pre-loaded HTH® Chlorine Floaters treat up to 20,000 gallons for up to 4 weeks. Simply adjust the dial for your pool size and add the floater to your swimming pool. You can use more than one or replace sooner if needed. If you are looking for granular chlorine view our range here.

How well do floating chlorine dispensers work?

They are an effective, cheap way of maintaining a residual flow of chlorine into your pool or spa. Floating chlorine dispensers should be used in hot tubs as there are no skimmers to add tablets too. They are convenient, inexpensive, and low maintenance. Additionally, the chlorine will be dispersed evenly throughout the week. The floaters also work equally well with bromine tablets. A good tip from our experts is to be careful not to let the floaters lie on their side in the pool or at the side to avoid any staining.
