Treatments with bromine or active oxygen represent an alternative to chlorine products available on the pool water treatment market.
Studies show that some consumers favour “chlorine free” products with a more natural image that is better suited for children.
Some people suffer from adverse reactions when exposed to chlorine in swimming pools or where over-chlorination is an issue. These can include skin irritation, eye irritation, sore throat etc.
However, we must still be disinfecting and killing waterborne bacteria. Some pool and spa owners opt for a chlorine free sanitisation chemical.

Dosage and Safety

> 15g Non-Chlorine Shock per 1m³ of water

> If cloudy or green, use 20g Non-Chlorine Shock per 1m³ of water

> Use once every 14 days as a matter of routine, or as necessary if sanitiser levels are very low

> Dose directly into spa with filters running and no bathers present

> Bathing may resume when the bromine or chlorine reading returns to normal

> Do not dissolve before use

> Do not mix with other products

> Store in a dry, well ventilated place with temperatures not exceeding 35°C

HTH Spa Non Chlorine Shock is an ideal shock treatment for spas operating on bromine or ­­­chlorine. It dissolves rapidly to break down unpleasant pollutants in the water that can lead to bather discomfort and should be used at the first sign of cloudy or green water. It will restore the effectiveness of the sanitiser by regenerating spent bromine and should be used regularly in spas treated with bromine.
