Maintaining the water in your pool or spa doesn’t require a degree in chemistry. Test strips can, and do, give accurate test results more quickly and easily than any other method. Simply dip the test strip in your pool and read the results. If imbalances are detected you are then able to purchase the correct chemicals to perfectly balance your water again. It is a good idea to keep a log of your testing results, then you can detect recurring issues with ease.
Test strips are among the easiest and fastest methods for testing water. By following the instructions with your testing strips, you can ensure an accurate result, leading to a clean and healthy pool or spa.

Dosage and Safety

> Fill vial with about 2.5 cm of pool/spa water

> Insert lower end of strip into water sample. For accurate results keep top half of strip completely dry

> When yellow band turns dark, typically in 3 to 4 minutes, remove the strip from the sample and determine where the highest white point (white peak) appears within the number scale on the test strip

> Compare that value to the chart on the bottle

> Keep cap closed tight between uses

> Store at room temperature

> Use by expiration date

Aquachek Salt Check Testing Strips - 10 strips

AquaChek salt testing strips are a unique test strip that simplifies an otherwise complicated testing operation. Unlike other test kits, the AquaChek White strips will give you a specific reading of the salt level in your water. Ideal for customers who have salt generator systems. Maintaining the correct level of salt is key to ensuring that your salt generator can produce the correct amount of chlorine to keep the water clean and free of contaminants. In just minutes you can measure salt levels from 400 to 7,000 ppm (sodium chloride).

A chlorine generator uses sodium chloride (salt) to make chlorine. The generator will convert the salt to free chlorine that will sanitise your pool, killing bacteria and microorganisms in the water, so you will need to add salt as it is used.

A proper level of salt will ensure that the generator is able to produce the desired amount of chlorine and keep the water free of contaminants. If the salt level is too low, the chlorine generator will not operate efficiently. If the level is too high, the water may corrode metal parts and fixtures, it may become cloudy, and it may have a salty taste.

Test with AquaChek Pool & Spa Test Strips at least once per month to help balance your pool water.

NB: Each bottle has its own unique chart that is specific to the test strips contained within that individual bottle
